There is an important distinction between growth and scale. They are not the same thing.
Generally speaking, growth is the linear increase of resources and, as a result, commensurate revenue. As you add more resources and expenses, revenue should increase, at a minimum, to cover those additional expenses. Your margins stay about the same.
Scaling is the exponential increase of revenue without increasing your expenses at the same rate. Scaling means refining and improving efficiency without increasing your expenses. It's a very different mindset with a different set of tools that, when done right, will change the trajectory of your business and everyone who is a part of it.
